Most of the paving we build is part of a larger backyard: the patio you eat on, the path to the side gate, the landing outside the slider. We lay it out together with the planting, lighting and drainage around it, so the paving reads as part of the yard rather than a slab dropped into it. Patios, walkways, driveways and pool decks all start the same way, with the base.

How we build it

Our paver installation process begins with proper site preparation, excavation, grading, and compacted base material, which is the foundation of a long-lasting paver surface. We then install edge restraints, bedding sand, and each paver with precision. The result is a level, well-drained surface that resists cracking, shifting, and settling for decades.

What to expect

From classic brick patterns to contemporary large-format slabs, we offer a wide range of paver styles, colors, and textures. Our design team creates custom layouts using 3D rendering software so you can visualize your new patio or driveway before installation begins. As a Techo-Bloc certified Techo-Pro contractor, we build Techo-Bloc pavers and walls to the manufacturer's installation standards. Every paver project comes with a written workmanship warranty.

Paver Installation questions, answered

The things Bay Area homeowners ask us most before starting.

Most paver patios take 3–5 days. Larger projects like driveways may take 1–2 weeks including site preparation, base work, and paver installation.

Price depends on the paver type, pattern complexity, base preparation and site access. After the design phase you get a fixed-price contract for the work.

Pavers are very low-maintenance. Occasional sweeping and rinsing keep them looking great. We recommend resealing every 2–3 years to maintain color and prevent weed growth between joints.
